A very BIG thank you to everyone who came to the Latin Quarter Charity Social at the Black Watch last night, especially those who came from afar. We raised £331 for the children at the Azul Wasi project in Peru, which is great. Big thanks to the Black Watch Club for hosting the event, to the bar staff, and Ann & Emma for doing the door and selling raffle tickets. A special thank you to Tania for helping teach the Kizomba taster class and to everyone who helped tidy up at the end.
Big thanks to Bill for donating such a generous 1st prize at the raffle for a sea kayaking lesson and to everyone else who donated raffle prizes. I’ll post details for Bill’s kayaking and karate classes soon incase anyone else wants to have a go.
